Social Emotional IEP Goals

Some students have trouble resolving conflicts without avoiding physical contact or abrasive language. This can lead to further problems down the road, as these students may not be able to communicate effectively with others.<br /><br />An IEP goal that can help these students is to learn how to resolve conflict in a positive and non-confrontational manner. This can be accomplished through various activities and exercises focusing on communication and social skills. With this goal in mind, students will better handle conflict constructively.
