Instructions:
Divide the class into two teams.
Spread out the word cards on a table or the floor, with the matching words mixed in with the non-matching words.
Instruct the first player from each team to race to find a matching pair of words. Once they find a matching pair, they must bring it to the teacher to confirm if it's a match.
If the pair is a match, the player earns a point for their team.
If the pair is not a match, the player must return the cards to their original positions and their turn ends.
